Food Truck Starter
Daily Ops Log Pack: preview 1

Who it's for

New owners setting up routines before opening day, and crews who want the same checklist every shift.

Good to know

The logs don't set food safety limits. Use the hot holding, cold holding and cooling limits your health department sets.

Opening and closing checklists, prep list, temperature and cooling logs, cleaning schedule, inventory count, cash-out sheet, inspection self-check, equipment maintenance and generator logs. Print the PDF for a clipboard in the truck, or use the Excel version on a tablet.

Made for writing in a truck

Every row is tall enough to write in with gloves off and a marker, with a chalkboard header so each log is easy to find on a clipboard.

Food safety logs you set up once

The temperature and cooling logs leave the limits and checkpoints for you to fill in from your health department's rules, with a link to the FDA Food Code. Write them in once and photocopy.

Cash-out that balances itself

The Excel cash-out sheet adds up the drawer, sales, tips and payouts and tells you if you're over, short or balanced.

Questions

Can I print these?

Yes. The PDF is US Letter and prints on any home or office printer.

Will these pass a health inspection?

Logs help you show your routines, but what an inspector checks is set by your local health department. Ask them for their own checklist too.

Can I change the logs?

Use the Excel version to edit columns, add menu items or change the checklist steps.

Can I get a refund?

These are digital downloads, so sales are final once the files are downloaded. If a file will not open or does not match this description, email us and we will fix it or refund you.
